All right first off I guess I'll say Happy green beer day or or food coloring In your beer day and and uh or Happy Saint Patty's Day and Uh my kid wanted to put a freaking green Food coloring in their apple juice this Morning Yeah it's not right anyway uh for all You leprechauns out there uh happy Saint Patty's Day I've got uh Freedom Gorilla.com stuff here and I want to do A little show and tell uh but first off I want to thank uh Freedom gorilla all Their staff and I want you guys to know look I I had a Serious issue I had a uh my Pistol optic it was a pistol optic that I relied on in case anything happened And I don't know how many of you have Had this problem it's like you put Something on a weapon that you're going To be using every day for self-defense Okay and then it stops working Like you don't know because there's too Many people writing these reviews okay And so I went It was the Sig the freaking Sig one this This little guy here I have no idea Those of you that have this Uh yeah that just fell out this is the Romeo zero That's the one it's got a little Sig Logo there And then over here okay
We pay money for stuff and we want it to Hold up and this didn't even last a year And it just went out I changed the Battery I I did everything I could to Figure out what the heck had happened to It I I have no idea it just stopped Working and I've never heard of Something like that just it just stops Working I mean usually it's like oh Batteries up so I'll just swap the Battery and Anyway So I went on the hunt and I was looking Around all over the place for a freaking Uh something and I couldn't get any any Because I had a special need here where I have a I'll show you in a minute a Gallow Precision type uh adapter that Allows me to run an optic don't know who To talk to who am I supposed to talk to So uh The only person who responded to me was And the reason why this is most Important was Freedom gorilla if you if You're looking for something like this Go to Freedom Grill if you're looking For an optic I went to them and uh They're the only people that responded To me uh they they got back to me and I Told them the situation and they Actually went to the website for Gallo Precision products and found the exact Optic that goes for that platform and You don't find people that do stuff like
That anymore it's really hard to find You know good folks that take care of People like that and uh but he hooked me Up And and uh and uh I even said you know Probably in a red or something a red dot Or something like no no it's like uh the Green con I didn't know that the green Laser contrast better than the the the Red like the green dots are better than The red dots I have no idea I have no Idea I don't know what I'm looking for You know I I don't deal with I don't I Don't deal with that type of stuff like Optics and things like that Um when it comes like a scope I can Figure it out but when it comes to like Little things like this some people just Don't know and uh so I got schooled and They schooled me up hooked me up and I've got it over here and I want to do a Quick show and tell but if you get a Chance go over to Freedom gorilla and Check them out and uh you can tell them Step one survival since you uh put a uh I'll put something below so you guys can Go check them out let's take a look at This They also have shirts and These really cool patches Check those out Those are pretty cool But Freedom gorilla is awesome Uh they also sell things like this like
The Nano light they sell small amounts Of random stuff so uh it's not just for They even have things like this it has a Feral rod on the side compass you know Little housing thing it's a whistle for Your kids you know you might have kids You want to get into survival but they Have all kinds of crazy stuff like that Now I this is the one that that I uh that he Told me uh this is like the X2 series I Had no idea what I should have on this Thing but this was meant for the Compacts and it's like a one-click thing So it's basically just a click and fire So Um easy to change out the battery unlike I want to compare real quick This guy here in order to change the Battery on this thing I mean you're spending this money on Stuff and you're like Why is it going to be so difficult so You've got to put you put the battery in Here and then this sits on your platform So you've got to remove all these screws And then put your new battery in then You're going to have to recite Everything in again well it's not like That with the one he recommended I was Recommended this is probably what you Should probably go with uh but this Thing here Go and pull this out
And I'll go and I'll tell you guys more About the stuff I have done to this Thing Um But going into this it's real simple all You do is just give it a click and it's Going to come online Let me get to where you can see you can See it right there Nice Green Dot there you can go up and Down in the settings make it really Bright or really dim Double click it turn it off Yep it's uh there we go Yeah all right there we go it's all now Over here on the side We've got a little screw and this little Platform you just take that little screw Out and the platform slides out and you Put in your battery it's that easy and Your adjustments are here and here and I Think on this thing let's think I didn't Realize how cheap this thing was But to get all your adjustments it's all There at the top And it's in like you've got this tiny Little pinhole and this thing can Unthread and all kinds of weird stuff Like uh another guy got to telling me About how many problems he had he's Never had one so I asked another friend And say hey have you ever had one of These things break on you it's like yeah Man it's like the first one that broke
Because it like unscrewed and everything Else I had no idea that this thing was So freaking cheap and I see a lot of People running it too because they like The convenience of like draw and shake And the battery life's supposed to be Long it's not it really isn't the thing Broke so now we have an all metal uh This thing's all metal it's not plastic It's not cheap and garbage Um it functions when you click it and it Just goes but this is the platform I was Telling you guys about and nobody could Help me there's nobody knew so uh but Gala uh but um Freedom gorilla hooked me up I told him This was a Gallow Precision this is Gallo Precision this thing has a lot of Gallo Precision stuff but it was a Gallon Precision platform that just Slides into the original rear sight of a G2c and uh for any of you guys out there That like affordable stuff this is what You go with and so you're on a budget And you can't afford the fancy uh one Thousand dollar pistol uh and you want To get something more affordable or You're just getting into guns but that's Kind of where this Falls in line but I Told them they went look bam it says I Know which one will go on it here you go You know it's like so Uh but if you're if you're in the need For this type of setup
Um definitely Freedom gorilla would be Who to call uh if you get one of these Gallo Precision platforms now Uh this thing here has the lake line Barrel and I'll I'll go into this so you Guys will know uh this this is the Balder RL and if you do the Olight Balder l or RL this is the one with the Laser You've got a red laser so the red laser Will I'll still be able to see it while I've got this Green Dot going if I ever Need to use it and then uh you can do Light and Laser or just light Uh this Will fit in just your standard go online Amazon holster and Just like that It's already optic cut these things are Like I think 30 bucks or something like That and CCW guys out there you want to Tuck it in your pants this is how you do It and cheap and easy on a budget Because this is a budget friendly Channel and non-outrageous anyways Um This is the Gallow Precision trigger Upgrade all I did was drop it in And Uh other than the other than the trigger That's the only thing I had updated on It it was a quick swap uh it does take a Few minutes to figure out this trigger Safety it's you know that's the only
Time consuming part is trying to Wiggle All that in there but other than that That's really all the bottom Parts have Been done to it over here Uh this is uh I think this is Lakeline Or Gallo they both have this uh this is Your titanium guide rod and then right Here is your threaded barrel You can unthread that but it's a little Tight I had to crank it down pretty Tight last time because uh it might get Loose or something in case you want to Run a suppressor you want to take it off You just you got to loosen it up In here uh the firing pin uh stuff has All been updated Gallo Precision stuff And uh uh back here I think this was Just uh found on Amazon I know right the Back plate here with the Punisher skull They make different ones but I just went With that one just because I wanted to Change it because I wanted someone to Say hey what in the world Um But inside here all this stuff's been Changed out to all metal and there's a Metal rim in here that you have to Change out as well you'll you'll see That kit if you ever go to uh uh to Their website But anyways I wanted to share that Because if I didn't say anything about It then everybody'd be like hey you Can't just talk about one thing and not
Talk about the other so I figured I'd Talk about this thing but Freedom gorilla thanks again This thing is cool it's very easy to see And it's very bright Um it does make the life a little bit Easier knowing there's somebody out There to help find a freaking optic for Something that's not garbage and they Even set themselves uh on the phone and Uh they said hey Uh I have I've heard some bad things It's just always said they were very Very chill about the answer uh I've seen Some things and so uh but let me Recommend something a little bit more Hardcore so that's what I went with so Those of you out there that are looking To update an old pistol or uh one of These things because you're starting to See a lot of these firearms come out on The Shelf when you go to the store they Already have the optic cut You're probably not going to know what Optic goes on there you know what I mean You're not going to know so Um not unless you just really know your Stuff I mean you might know so if that's Something you keep up with but If you don't know and you need help uh Uh Freedom Grill is who you want to hook Up with and they'll get you set up with The right one that goes on your firearm But anyways that's all I got
