Welcome back friends I'm Jason and you Are not ready enough here's some quick Tips to make sure you are more prepared Dry fire training is probably the most Beneficial thing that I've done to Improve my abilities on the Range Typical drill that I would like to do is Clearing the shirt getting a solid grip On the dyno finding the front sight Driving it towards the Target in a slow Controlled squeeze of the dyno arm Without moving the sites I can also work by functions such as if I get a click and no bang that requires A tap a rack Represent and squeeze Bang Very beneficial costs you zero dollars To do dry fire training and it really Has made a huge difference in my Abilities on the Range Do everything you can to waterproof the Tech and all of the contents inside A lot of people gear up they get all This expensive fancy stuff loaded up in These big expensive packs but they don't Do anything to keep things dry because They just assume I guess the weather is Going to be fair you want to make sure That you can keep everything that you Have inside this pack dry as much as Possible and the Scotchgard stuff works Really really well as far as repelling Rain Obviously if you dunk this pack in uh
The in the in the ocean it's going to Take on some water it's not waterproof It's not a dry bag but it will repel a Lot of the uh of the rain and shed a lot Of the water off if you treat it with Scotchgard Pay particularly close attention to the Top of the pack because that's going to Raise when you're wearing it that's Going to be receiving most of the rain Autumn's going to get wet so treat that As well move the straps out of the way Get all every nook and cranny In addition to waterproofing the Exterior of your pack Keeping it an individual dry bags such As this one also does a does a world of Good for keeping things dry so I Wouldn't do this for everything Obviously but for things that I'm really Really interested in keeping dry like Extra clothing that's what's in here for Example I might stick it in a dry bag in There as well just a just one more layer Of protection against the rain Generally when I'm riding in a vehicle I've got a seat belt on and I carry Concealed but every now and then if the Situation presents itself and it looks Like a little bit of a sketchier area I Will expose my dinosaur and I will have It much easier to uh access and carry in An appendix rig like this makes it so Much easier to get to and that's where
The appendix rig really shines carrying On the hip Any of the other locations in a vehicle Is much more difficult to get to this is Very easy to engage out both windows Out the windshield or even out the back Glass if needed I don't like the dyno Carriers that mount to the vehicle in a Fixed position I don't like those very Much because if I have to leave the Vehicle in a hurry There's a possibility if I'm thinking About all kinds of other things Craziness is going down I might happen To leave that thing there and that might Be a big mistake so I like to always Have it on my person is it that Comfortable No sometimes after long car rides it's a Little bit uncomfortable and annoying But for the most part I still like to Keep it there Now I understand that this may hurt your Feelings but a lot of people that are Against the appendix Carry of the dyno do it because they Have some sort of a gut and that's Pushing the dyno out and causing it to Dig into your pelvis and I get that That's uncomfortable and I get that That's why you choose to carry in a Different position but let's instead of Instead of working around the primary Issue in the first place why don't we
Fix the primary issue because that's Going to save you so much headache in The future as far as health problems Health concerns it's going to make you Stronger fitter faster you're going to Be able to take on those challenges as They present themselves if some sort of Emergency situation should arise Everybody wants the shiny fancy stuff The brand new dino and the appendix rig But if your gut is pushing your push it Out so far that you can't even carry the Thing comfortably there's no point and If you can't comfortably care it you're Probably not going to be a better human Being How about that Get some chickens they lay eggs and you Can eat them it is a win of all the farm Animals chickens make the most sense Plus they free range you don't even have To feed them I hardly feed my chickens Anything occasionally I'll throw them at A handful of feed or scratch and and That's pretty much it they dig through The compost here and get what they like And then they get the rest of their food Up here in the woods scratching around Digging or eating bugs out in the field If you got room for it get the chickens Get a dog their eyes their ears their Nose so much more acute than yours they Will let you know when threats are Around they can bark and alert you when
There's danger near such a big deal one Of the best security measures that you Can take for your household don't be Afraid to take on challenges and learn New skills there may come a time when You are required to do something Fix an appliance work on a vehicle Whatever it may be and if you haven't Practiced this you haven't acquired the Skills the knowledge perhaps the tools To do the job you won't be able to and You may not be able to just call Somebody up call a guy up and him run Over here and take care of your problem You're going to have to be a lot more Self-reliant Don't Be Afraid learn new skills trades Tasks be more awesome This is it's an actual map keep one of These in your car because let's say Technology fails you know from time to Time and if your GPS isn't working for Whatever reason you need to navigate Your way from A to B having an actual Map something that doesn't fail in a Compass will get you out of that spot a Little TP in the vehicle is a nice touch You never know when the ladies got to Stop over on the side of the road and Use the bathroom and they like to use The toilet paper Trash bags super helpful to have these Big 42 gallon 55 gallon drum Liners in Your vehicle let's say you got a crawl
Underneath the thing in the in the Swampy muddy muck when it's raining you Can lay this thing down on there and not Get so nasty which is nice you can also Make an improvised Poncho out of them You can throw garbage in them clearly so Lots of uses to carry trash bags around Just a designated truck car raincoat is A good idea as well just pull this nasty Thing out and throw it on when you gotta Crawl underneath it or work on something Stuck in the mud who knows probably Without question the most likely Scenario that you'll need a med kit for Is some sort of vehicle accident Not the drive-by not the gunfight at the OK Corral but probably some sort of Vehicle collision so having a really Really good quality Med kit like this One from Um bear independent or Refuge medical is A solid idea and you should definitely Keep one in your vehicle All right guys well I really do Appreciate you watching I hope these Tips have been helpful in some form or Fashion or at least a little bit Entertaining thanks so much for watching Hit that thumbs up subscribe if you Haven't done so already and I cannot Wait to see you on the next one Foreign
