So here we go All right that time again time's another Soul overnighter in the woods and I'm Thinking it's almost summertime I got Asked a lot about bugs mosquitoes ticks Etc so today's your lucky day let's get To it Good All right today's the day get a lot of Questions about bugs because it's that Time of year where I live we have Mosquitoes and ticks and they're Horrible they're out all day and into The evening so I found this on Amazon by One wind it's 100 polyester tent shelter Mosquito net it's a portable bug net Best of all has loops on it and it Actually sits naturally in a lean to Configuration that'll go perfect with Any tarp so let's check her out So there's the front So we'll set up a ridge line going in This direction Towards the tree Lay it down pull our Loop through A whopping five feet takes one second to Pull through there Tighten it down Pitch the loop and the line together Drape over Pull through Easy peasy lemon squeezy Now the past couple of videos I've been Hitting really hard
And trying to drive home the concept of This Ridgeline And I have two prusiks on here and People ask me why two why not three how Come some people just use one here's why I want to A lot of people tend to use the loop at The end and I'm okay with that that's Cool if you want your shelter at that End having two of these allows me the Freedom to put my shelter or my tarp or In this case a bug net anywhere on that Ridge line that I want and they're going To pull against each other creating Tension There's our first tree Second tree and we're almost Center Foreign So looking at this we're about one two Three four five six seven eight by one Two three four foot wide And here's the best part right here I can actually sit up in this bad boy Got more enough room for me and my gear It's a warm business So far so good we're looking outstanding The one downside to this is it came with This elastic garbage Ridgeline I'm gonna Toss this in the trash probably burn it In the fire later on a ceremonial Burning if you will Um we're gonna keep this number 36 Bank Line Ridgeline that we made a few weeks Back I'll stuff that inside of that bag
Um now If it's perfect weather you're done That's it right there enjoy the breeze The outside air et cetera the fire but If you think there's a chance of rain The beauty is you have two options Either have an independent tarp system Over top of this in any configuration That you like or you can simply attach To the Ridgeline in a lean to or A-frame Foreign [Applause] Arbor knot right here to lock this pole In place And then we'll land our horizontals for Our bed Foreign [Applause] [Laughter] Foreign Now we'll just add One prusik on each side here And tighten our tarp down the same way Same way we did our bug net [Applause] From here I have the option to take this Bad boy out and we created a tarp A-frame with our bug net inside or what We can do we can roll this bad boy up And we have access to our door and then Just not worry about inclement weather Until it comes All the gear in my videos can be found In three places one my Amazon influencer
