Don't allow yourself to get it caught up In fear or anxiety at this time pay Attention to what's going around on Around you but focus on the task at hand And find personal goals for you whether That's to store more water store more Food but this is not the time to allow Yourself to get caught up in fear and Anxiety and to make these major life Decisions that could alter you if Nothing happens so that's my final Encouragement to you so let's jump into The news Recession Well the Federal Reserve the U.S Central Bank composed the policy makers is now Acknowledging what we and others have Been pointing out for over a year now The U.S economy is going to enter a Recession now the FED reluctantly is Laying all that blame almost entirely on The recent baking turmoil and not the Double digit inflation a war in Ukraine Tensions with China or slower than Expected recovery from the covet Pandemic at least they came around to File acknowledging this fact though Their actual projection now is for a Mild recession starting later this year With the recovery of the subsequent two Years they indicate that this will be Accompanied by a jump in the Unemployment rate and predict a full Recovery in a little over two years now
Many ways we are experiencing compound And inflation already and yes there is The banking crisis but a host of other Problems have hammered away at the Economy in its long-term forecasts at The fed's March meeting they projected That the economy would grow by only four Percent that is a rate so slow that any Other factor and there are plenty to Choose from could easily cause that Projected growth to evaporate or dip Negative this current forecast by the FED will lead to a tightening of credit And lending by Banks as they look to Limit their exposure and minimize their Risk the FED is hope to avoid that by Acknowledging a recession earlier now in Their defense they actually didn't even Need to really recognize the recession At this point as the state unemployment Benefits Rose slightly but we're still Historically low the economy still has a Lot of fuel but there isn't much Optimism to keep that fire stoked State Unemployment benefits Rose to a Seasonably adjusted 239 thousand Unadjusted new claims economists put the Breach point that would signal a Deterioration in the labor market at Around 270 000. so we aren't technically There by any technical definition of a Recession the rate hikes do seem to have Slowed inflation considerably the Consumer Price Index or CPI climbed just
